Hi! I am Eliana Azarian, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and founder of InnerWork. 

 

I have worked in every mental health setting, at every level of care. I believe my experiences and expertise in the mental health field set me apart from most clinicians.

InnerWork is not a cookie-cutter treatment with one size fits all approach. I focus on assessment in order to create a treatment plan fit for the specific needs and wants of my patients.

I have worked with all demographics but specialize in substance use, co-parenting/family dynamics, and couples and sex therapy. I am a Certified Sex Therapist Informed Professional.

"My vision for the future is to see an increase in society's understanding of mental health as a whole and for mental health to be seen as of equal importance to physical health. Think about it. Our children need physical exams for entrance into schools, camps, etc. Why don't they need routine mental health checkups? I hope to live to see the day when a routine mental check-up becomes common practice. I truly believe we would see a decrease in violence, suffrage, and issues like substance use if we can catch issues early on."

Chris Harris is a registered intern mental health therapist at InnerWork. 

 

His focus is to help his patients embark on the path of self-discovery and emotional well-being. Chris specializes in both children and adults. He committed to creating a safe and compassionate space where healing can flourish. Chris is  passionate about inclusive and affirming care rooted in inclusivity and diversity.

 

Chris is well-versed in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which allows him to tailor sessions to meet the unique needs of each of his patients. Chris is also specialized with LGBTQ+ individuals.

Nancy Loza is a is a licensed mental health therapist at InnerWork. 

 

​She is bilingual and offers her services in both English and Spanish.  

 

Nancy is focused on providing support through the different transitions and challenges of life. She is specialized in the treatment of substance abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, and family/peer relationships. She provides services to children, adolescents, adults, and individuals in the LGBTQ community. Nancy holds a certification in TF-CBT (Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy).

Alissa Anaya is a is a licensed mental health therapist at InnerWork. 

​

Alissa offers evidenced based treatment such as (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, (ERP) Exposure Response Prevention therapy along with (CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques. With a vast array of experience, Alissa has done it all. That being said, her trainings focus on trauma and overcoming phobias. Alissa is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

Karina Gonzalez is a is a licensed social worker at InnerWork.

She is bilingual and offers her services in both English and Spanish.

Karina has an extensive background working with adolescents and families. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma using evidence-based treatments including CBT and DBT. Karina also has experience working with adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She believes that a healthy therapeutic relationship sets a strong foundation for healing.

Stephanie Alvarez, LMHC is a is a licensed mental heath counselor at InnerWork. 

​

She is bilingual and offers her services in both English and Spanish.

Stephanie has a specialty in working with Hispanic and Latino individuals and families. She has extensive experience working with adolescents and families. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma using evidence-based treatments including TF- CBT.  Stephanie believes in multicultural care and is dedicated to her patients.
